Chamfer was designed to layer timber and light. Three layers of timber, each finished with a 1.5 mm chamfered edge, stacked 7 mm apart across a 40 mm profile that holds close to the wall.

The layers sit in front of the light source and work as louvres. Light leaves the unit in every direction and washes up the wall and across the ceiling, with the source concealed from every angle except side on.

Available in American Walnut, American White Oak or Australian Blackbutt. Each layer is an A-grade veneer on high-quality ply, finished with a natural oil.

The light unit is engineered to IP44 and specified with high grade LEDs. The body is designed to install ahead of the shade, allowing the timber element to be fitted off at the end of the build. Suited to a variety of interior spaces.
